Mileage:  75 miles (120 kms)

Elevation Change: 600 feet (183 meters)

Weather:  Cloudy and cool

Morale:  GREAT!

Incidents:  Christopher beat us to the SAG stop

Daily Summary:

Day two in Michigan:  it was our flattest day yet.  No one is complaining about the lack of elevation!  The day stayed cloudy and cool until the late afternoon when it rained and rained.  We were all done by that time, though.  The cycling day was great.  We left at 7:30 this morning.  Teresa, Raymond, and I were on the triple and Christopher was on a single.  Christopher passed us, and continued his blistering pace for the entire 40 miles that he rode, so he actually beat us to the SAG stop.  His total for 2 days is 107 miles!  Teresa hung in with us for another day, bringing her 2 day total to 190 miles.  Not bad considering these are the first cycling miles she’s done this year!  It was fun having her along and talking to her these past two days and we will miss her.  We took the bike back down to 2 places this afternoon, between loads of laundry and time in the hot tub.

In the pictures below, you see Christopher smoking by us on his fast ride.  Then, the four of us at the SAG stop.
